The Northwest Cloth Dollmakers Luncheon was held at Merrill Gardens, a well appointed Senior community in Stanwood, WA. As we set up and displayed (over 200) dolls, we visited with old friends and made new ones.
Meo Feroy showed us how to sculpt a head using kits provided by the Dollings@Stanwood Club.
She did a fantastic job instructing our large group.
Our pin doll exchange was fabulous as were the door prizes, contributed by many generous online and local shops. The lunch was excellent! The Seniors of Merrill Gardens were invited to view our dolls while we enjoyed Meo's workshop and lunch. My goodness they were so excited and amazed at the wonderful dolls.
Meo read us her poem as we finished our lunch, what a great way to end a wonderful event!
We re-joined our dolls, visited, shopped at the vendor tables and said our good-byes till next time.
